A lovely copy of this rarely encountered atlas. The maps are reductions of Ortelius' larger maps in the Theatrum. In subsequent editions the Mercator projection of the world is reduced even further in size. Phillips 391 for the atlas, Shirley 132 and Burden 48-50 for the world and American maps.<
