Baumberger was one of the most prolific Swiss poster designers and he regularly collaborated with PKZ, designing at least eight posters for the firm. In addition to his art work, he was also a close adviser to Emile Haller, the PKZ advertising director. They met at the Café Odeon in Zurich, in 1923, where together they created a photo contest, "Knips Konkurrenz," for which Baumberger designed the whole campaign including an animated film. This, Baumberger's first poster for PKZ, takes a minimalist approach, using typography in an elegant way, and simply placing the company logo into the middle of a diamond-shaped, almost wrought-iron style, decorative design. Baumberger no. 54, p. 25
