Third edition, octavo, printer's woodcut device to title page, bound in attractive contemporary full calf, with large tooled arms on front board, with some remnants of hand-applied red paint; lozenge-shaped arabesque tool to back board; all edges gilt and gauffered; worming damage to surface of both boards (patched), spine dry, endcap chipped away, lacking original thong ties, some worming to contents; extensive notes to title page, old signature torn from foot of title (repaired on verso); ex libris Minor friars of Dettelbach, Germany, with written inscriptions and stamps; a few leaf margins heavily wormed; several instances of tears with losses to page corners; 6 3/8 x 4 in.
