Mount Kilimanjaro has achieved near-mythical status throughout the world. It is, in fact, comprised of three volcanic cones, of which the largest and most frequently-depicted is named "Kibo." The British controlled the Tanganyika Territory from 1916 until 1961. It is unusual that such a prominent attraction should have been featured on so few posters. rare.
