PABLO PICASSO (after)
Nature morte à l'Instrument de Musique.

Color pochoir, circa 1920. 265x205 mm; 10 1/2x8 1/8 inches, full margins. Signed and numbered 3/100 in pencil, lower left. Published by Paul Rosenberg, Paris. A superb impression of this scarce, early print, with strong colors.

Paul Rosenberg became Picasso's dealer in 1918 and respresented the artist until 1940. In the early 1920s he published a set of 10 pochoirs, including the current work and the following lot, after a series of Cubist gouaches depicting Commedia dell'Arte motifs that Picasso had made in 1920.
