We have not found another proof impression before steel-facing and beveling of the plate at auction in the past 25 years; an artist's proof impression, aside from the edition of 50, but after steel-facing and beveling of the plate (there were 15 such artist's proof impressions) sold at Kornfeld, Bern, 1994, lot 782.
