Signed in blue pencil and dated "le 16.4.50" in pencil, lower center. A very good impression.
Designed by Picasso as the cover for the second volume of Mourlot's catalogue raisonné of his lithographs. According to Passeron, Picasso made this print using a finger painting technique, applying the greasy lithographic ink to the stone with his bare fingers. Bloch 664; Mourlot 186; Reuße 531.
