One of only several proofs, aside from the edition of 18 (Baer notes, "Quelques épreuves non numérotées dans des collections particulières"). Signed in ink, lower right. A superb, well-inked impression of this extremely scarce print.
We have found only 3 impressions of this print in this issue, before the plate was cut down, at auction in the past 20 years.
Sergava (1909 or 1910-2005) danced the part of Laurey in the original Broadway version of "Oklahoma!" from 1943 to 1947. She was also a dancer with the Ballet Russe. Bloch 295a; Baer 607.
