Pal's popularity and success with both the public and thus with advertisers was his simple winning formula of clearly depicting the object being advertised, straightforward typography and most always using by an alluring woman, tantalizingly dressed as his "spokesperson." The Cusenier brothers founded their distillery in the Jura mountains, and built their company into one of the world's leading brands of aperitifs. They achieved this through introducing a host of new flavors for their drinks which proved to be highly successful. They were also one of the first liqueur companies to focus on foreign business, opening distilleries in Buenos Aires and branches as far away as Shanghai and Calcutta. This is the larger format.
