Although little is known about Pampaglini, he is credited with having designed at least two other posters for the American Export Lines. Here, three vessels, ironically not the three ships mentioned, (the sister ships Constitution and Independence each had two funnels), are shown approaching lower Manhattan. They ultimately would head up the West side to their berths at Pier 84 (at 44th Street).
