Di Bianco (1930-1978, see lots 204-206) was born in Buenos Aires and studied at the Taller del Oeste in Villa Insuperable under painter and muralist Juan Carlos Castagnino (1908-1972). After his first exhibition in 1955, Di Bianco's murals were frequently commissioned by labor unions during the term of Juan Perón. In the mid-1960s, Di Bianco moved to join an Argentinean patron in Sweden. He continued to paint politically charged murals celebrating the industrial working class for the Argentinean expatriate community and to nurture his international career.
