Ink over blue pencil on Bristol board, 2000 & 2004. 343x102 mm; 13½x4 inches each (image). Both pieces are signed twice by the artist, once in the published art and again in bottom right margins.

Additional Details

A group of two original Rose is Rose daily comics featuring the title character Rose and the adorable family cat Peekaboo. The comic with the line: "I just can't train Peekaboo to do anything!" appeared in newspapers on June 26, 2000, and the strip with "This is what happens when you sleep in a pile of my sweaters!" was published on Valentine's Day, 2004–not long before Don Wimmer took over art duties on the strip in March of that year. In 2005 Brady was honored with the National Cartoonists Society Reuben Award for Cartoonist of the Year.
