Feiffer commentary: Oliphant was from Australia originally. He came over here and started drawing and influenced the whole school of young cartoonists. Everybody was imitating Oliphant for a while because he had a brilliant line, great wit and style, and he drew like a dream. What's not to imitate? I thought his work was brilliant. Here he is doing a parody of my style, which he later gave to me.
