Her abilities ensured her a long-lasting and successful career on Parisian stages, performing in operettas, music halls and theatres (see lot 29). She was famous enough to be one of the stars caricatured by Colin in the Tumulte Noir. Here, in a very scarce poster for an operetta, Colin uses his favorite trick of vertically partitioning an image, working cleverly with and around Marnac's gown. Zwanziger Jahre p. 97.
