A theatrical production of a story involving several ghosts attending an engagement party. The story, originally published in 1929, was turned into a movie in 1936, directed by Max Ophüls. The rather eye-catching poster seems to speak of murder, vanity and romance but these were not major themes in the movie in which the ghosts conspire to help a girl marry the man she really loves.
