PAUL COLIN (1892-1986) REVUE ESPAGNOLE. 1926.

Condition B+: minor discoloration in margins; minor loss in text at top; tears and creases at edges. Paper.
This was another production during the 1926 season. It would have been an easy and enjoyable image for Colin to produce, as he loved dance in general and Spanish rhythm in particular (he designed posters for several famous Spanish dancers and performers, like Vincente Escudero, La Granero and Espanita Cortez). This is a free-handed, vivid rendition of two flamenco dancers in the midst of their performance. Although the show, featuring the music of Jose Padilla (Cole Porter's alter ego in the world of Spanish music) would have been excellent, the poster remains previously unreferenced.
