Limited edition, oblong folio, one of 100 total, this is copy 'F' of 15 deluxe lettered copies specially bound, signed by the artist, and accompanied by a matching quarter morocco portfolio lettered in gilt containing an original signed drawing titled "Partie Carrée" by Ayrton, a suite of 17 signed plates on japon paper (two of which were rejected), and an additional suite of the 15 finalized plates on handmade paper, also signed; with frontispiece and 14 etched plates; bound in russet and tan morocco by Sangorski and Sutcliffe with Verlaine's profile blind stamped on the front panel, spine lettered in gilt, top edge gilt with the others uncut (minor chips to spine cap, one spot and a faint scratch to front board); bound volume and portfolio all contained in the original publisher's tan cloth slipcase with printed spine label (minor soiling and rubbing to slipcase); 11 1/4 x 15 1/2 in.
