PEACE AND FREEDOM / WORLD'S FAIR. 1940.
30x20 inches. Polygraphic Company of America, New York.

Standing at the end of the Fair's Constitution Mall<>, "a broad avenue with pools, fountains, lawns, flower borders, shade trees and heroic statuary" (World of Tomorrow p. 30) with the Trylon and Perisphere in the background, is a 60 foot high statue of George Washington in his inaugural robes, by James Earle Fraser.
