Additional Details

scarce first edition of a volume of neo-classical verse by Pegolotti (aka Orialo Minieiano) of the Arcadian Academy, and superb example of sullivan's decorative work. Though he did not bind books himself, Sullivan (1852-1928) was skilled at gold-tooling. Cf. Nixon, Oldaker Collection 71.
