Folio, cream paper over linen boards embossed and lettered in gilt on front cover and in blind on rear cover; patterned endpapers, title-page and first two plates foxed; housed in a beige cloth clamshell box; booklet entitled "Forty-Seven Days to Oz: A Chronicle of the Studies for the Illustrations for The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" laid in. number 105 of 350 copies but with an additional signed and numbered suite of plates from the edition of 50. The plates are loose as issued, laid into a separate cloth clamshell box with spine label and title-page. 361x280 mm; 14 1/4x11 inches, sheets, each numbered 14/50 in pencil and signed by Moser. An imaginative production, with characters loosely based on figures in the Reagan administration. The work contains an appreciation by Justin G. Schiller and is printed by Harold McGrath, designed by Barry Moser; the type is Van Dijck, printed on Mohawk Letterpress archival paper with hand composition by P. Chase Twichell, and with calligraphy by Yvette Rutledge. It is beautifully bound by David Bourbeau at the Thistle Bindery.
