20 issues of RFD, billed as "a country journal for gay men everywhere."
Issues [2] through 13 complete, 15, 21, 25, 29, 32, 33, 34, and 41, in quarto format (the early issues 250x180 mm; 10x7 inches and the later a bit larger); generally minor wear. Various places including Grinnell, IA; Wolf Creek, OR; and Bakersville, NC, 1974-1985.

"RFD" is the common acronym for the Post Office's rural free delivery policy, here appropriated for a quarterly magazine with subtitles that changed with almost every issue: "Reckless Fruit Delight," "Really Feeling Divine," "Rabbits, Faggots, and Dragonflies," "Raving Flamers' Diary" and more. The early issues are dedicated to "country faggots everywhere." Contents include poetry, art, essays, copious letters, and markedly few advertisements when compared to more urban publications. The magazine helped inspire the related Radical Faerie movement.
