Built between 1904 and 1908, the Empress Hotel in Vancouver, B.C., originally marked the terminus of the Canadian Pacific's steamship line. The elegant, Edwardian edifice has played host to royalty and movie stars alike and remains a popular hotel and tourist destination to this day.
