"Elizabeth" likely refers to Elizabeth Staahl, a friend of Hujar and his lover Steve Lawrence. The three collaborated in the late 1960s-early 1970s on a publication called Newspaper. Staahl was an illustrator, who worked on a number of zines during that period.
