[156] leaves. 8vo, 159x101 mm, contemporary Wittenberg binding of blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards by Mathias Juncker the Elder, with his historiated allegorical roll signed M I around center panel of vertically arranged floral stamps on covers, front cover additionally stamped I • F • S at top and dated 1553 at bottom, brass catches and clasps; minor toning or foxing in margins through most of volume, extensive contemporary marginalia, light soiling and few stains on title, blank upper margin excised, small piece missing from blank lower margin of N5, clean tear in second table between Q6 and Q7.
