This poster is for the third part of the film (see previous lot) in which a terrified couple are huddled on the street as a wild-eyed and pale-faced Jack the Ripper wanders around looking for his next victim. It is interesting to note the almost expressionist way in which the artist handles the city skyline, reminiscent of German film posters of the time such as The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. A rare and creative movie poster that stands out as an artistic exception within its field.
