Two happy couples in pink, gray and brown are frolicking on a green hillside; within a red border. One in a series of posters produced by Nevinson to promote travel by motor bus, each one highlighting activities that can be indulged in along different bus routes. An early Futurist, Nevinson, who shared a studio with Modigliani in Paris in 1912, also co-wrote a manifesto with Marinetti in 1914. Between 1921 and 1939 he produced 11 posters for the London Transport system.
