Founded in 1895, the Royal Hungarian River and Sea Navigation Company (MFTR) operated boats up and down the Danube. The river, Europe's second longest, flows through ten countries and some of Europe's greatest cities, including Budapest, Vienna, Belgrade and Bratislava. Here, beneath the Budapest castle, we see that sightseeing trips, complete with dancing and cocktails, but suitable for children, was also a service offered.
