Pictured are Lawrence Oats, Henry Bowers, Captain Robert Falcon Scott, Edward Wilson, and Edgar Evans; all 5 died in their attempt to reach the pole. This image was taken at the camp where Scott died. The print itself was one of the supplementary photographs from Ponting's 1913 exhibition at the Fine Art Society.
