This is one of Livemont's strongest and most arresting images, and perhaps the only one in which he depicts a raven-haired beauty. In spite of the uncharacteristic use of bold colors the image still exudes all of Livemont's style and genius, from the transparent veils, to the handling of the hair and his trademark white outlining of the central figure.
