". . . I am a little annoyed as my librettists have not given me the second and third acts. It will be necessary for me to go to Milan some day to secure them. I am happy that you found no difficulty in the little matter of Liu that you did not find it too high. If you can sing easily this little aria, it means that you have the ideal voice for this work and for many others. In the little that I have heard, I judged immediately that your voice was of a unique sweetness and ease of production. . . .
