Pudgy was a New York-based female impersonator, most famous in the late 1960s. They wrote two novels, Dormitory Mates (1968) and Seafood (1969), edited the monthly magazine "The Great Female Mimics," and wrote a how-to book called The Female Impersonator's Handbook (1967).
