A woman and her son are enjoying the waves during their seaside escape on the East Coast of Canada. One of at least two images Ewart designed promoting towns around the Bay of Fundy and on Nova Scotia. Ewart studied as a commercial designer in both Montreal and New York City and designed his first poster for the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1939. Ewart worked for the Railway for 20 years and created more than 24 different posters for the company. Canadian Pacific p. 315.
