First complete edition, three large folio volumes; large paper issue, Greek text with Latin translation by Jean de Serres (1540-1598); lacking final blank in volume one; bound in full uniform 18th century calf, neatly rebacked; light marginal dampstaining more or less throughout, titles expertly mounted; first title with bottom line of imprint abraded and clean tear across lower outer corner of Nn1, early owners' inscriptions on titles; 14 3/4 x 9 1/4 in.
