Rachelle Mozman Solano works in photography and film. Her artwork addresses concerns with the convergence of ideology, mythology, economics, and the human psyche. Approaching her subject with a background in photography and clinical psychoanalysis gives her a unique perspective on these concerns. Mozman received an MFA in photography at the Tyler School of Art at Temple University. She is a Fulbright Fellow and has exhibited her work in the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, Panama, the Museo de Arte y Diseño Contemporáneo, Costa Rica, the National Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C., and the Friese Museum in Berlin. Her work is in the collections of the Bronx Museum of the Arts, Bronx, NY, El Museo del Barrio, NY, and the Voelker Orth Museum, Queens, NY, and others.
