The great English illustrator shows himself in a humorous pose on skis, bare-chested and bespectacled, donning giant boots, mittens, and hat, set against a mountain background. 140x130 mm; 5 1/2x5 inches. Signed and dated January 1914, tipped to front blank, a bit of toning and soft fold marks.
