Additional Details

Originally published as an appendix to Robin's Voyages dans l'interieur de la Louisiane in 1807, this edition is translated and edited by Rafinesque, who gives the proper nomenclature. The work describes 400 species, of which almost 200 were new to Rafinesque. The only copy of this scarce book with original wrappers which we could locate at auction in the last 20 years was the Mackenzie-De Belder copy. Sabin 72031; Pritzel 7400.
