Folio, contemporary calf, rebacked, covers detached; some light marginal toning and soiling, scattered minor stains, fraying along fore edges at beginning and end, scattered clean tears. Early inscriptions on front blank, early signature of Edw. Rowdon on title and elsewhere, 48-line poem ("Verses made by Sr. Walter Raleigh the night before his Execution") written in neat contemporary hand on title verso. STC 20640. (London: H.
