Additional Details

first edition, first issue, number 9 of 43 copies signed by chubb. Considered Chubb's greatest work and a true labor of love. Heavenly Cupid, a celebration of the beauty of male youth, began as a smaller work before Chubb added sections, extending it into a lengthy philosophical prose poem. The binding choice of corduroy was to reflect the fabric of country trousers, an experiment that was neither terribly successful nor repeated on future publications. Reid A10a.
