Additional Details

"Zatta's version of Mitchell is not an exact copy: many geographical changes are introduced, and Bermuda is depicted as well as Jamaica [inset map on Sheet No. 9], neither of which are shown by Mitchell. A separate map covers Newfoundland and Cape Breton, on the same scale"--Rumsey 5007. This is the first printing of these 1778 maps by Zatta. All 15 of them were later included in his Atlante Novissimo published 1779-1785.
