Third edition of a work first published by Schott the preceding year, " . . . a sort of hand-book or encyclopaedia of natural and moral philosophy, presented in dialogue form and illustrated with a large number of woodcuts. The twelve books in which it is divided relate to grammar, logic, rhetoric, artificial memory, correspondence, arithmetic, music, geometry, astronomy, cosmography, astrology, natural philosophy, chemistry, alchemy, botany, optics, mental philosophy, theology, and moral philosophy" (Sabin).
