Etching and drypoint, 1631. 63x41 mm; 21/2x15/8 inches, thread margins. Biörklund's fourth state (of 4); Usticke's fourth state (of 5); White and Boon's fourth state (of 4). A very good, richly-inked impression of this scarce, early print, with the many fine drypoint lines and points below the man's extended hand and between his legs printing with strong burr.
According to Usticke, "extremely rare" (RRR+). We have found only 3 other impressions at auction in the past 20 years. Bartsch 150; Biörklund 31-O; Hollstein (White and Boon) 150.
