Etching and drypoint, 1655. 158x133 mm; 6 1/4x5 1/4 inches, thread margins. Usticke's only state (e), with burr on Abraham's beard, on the tie around Abraham's waist, on the cloth at the left edge of the plate and to the left and below the platter, with the fine horizontal wiping scratches and with dark, inky plate edges, consistent with the earliest impressions of this print. The top of a Strasbourg Lily (?) watermark (Ash/Fletcher 36). A brilliant, early impression. Bartsch 35; Biörklund 55-B; Hollstein (White and Boon) 35.
