Biörklund's second state (of 3), with the rust spots along the upper edge of the plate; Usticke's second state (of 3); White and Boon's second state (of 3); New Hollstein's first state (of 2). Proprietary name "Octuier" watermark (Ash/Fletcher 39 B a; they note the same watermark is on another impression of this subject in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York). A superb, early impression with strong contrasts.
