Etching, right section only, circa 1649. 192x125 mm; 7 5/8x5 inches, narrow margins. Biörklund's second state (of 2); Usticke's fifth state (of 5); White and Boon's second state (of 2), after the plate was cut into sections by Captain Baillie. A very good, strong impression.
Baillie acquired Rembrandt's original etched copper plate for Christ Healing the Sick (Hundred Guilder Print) around 1775 and, after reworking it and printing proofs of the entire subject, cut it down into 4 separate pieces to produce the current work.
