Etching and drypoint on cream laid paper, 1651. 208x161 mm; 8 1/4x6 3/8 inches, thread margins. Biörklund's first state (of 6), with the blank strip beneath the top bar of the chair and the delicate shading in the triangular space; Usticke's first state (of 9); White and Boon's first state (of 6). Indiscernible watermark. Several expertly-repaired tears, visible mainly on the verso. A very good, dark impression of this extremely scarce, early print with strong contrasts.
