Basan edition or earlier; White and Boon's sixth state (of 6), after the reduction of the plate. Auvergne watermark (Ash/Fletcher 39 E, which they date from around 1742 to 1793 and cite on another impression of this subject in the Natioanl Gallery of Art, Washington, DC).
