Basilisk watermark (Ash/Fletcher 12; the identical watermark is on the second state impressions of this subject in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; and the National Gallery, Washington, DC). A superb, well-inked and crisp impression of this extremely scarce etching, with little to no sign of wear and with touches of drypoint above the glove.
