Etching, engraving and drypoint on thin, cream laid paper, circa 1632. 371x256 mm; 14 5/8x10 1/8 inches, narrow to small margins. Biörklund's ninth state (of 9); Usticke's eighth state (e-i) (of 10), with the back of the man at lower left very dark and with the diagonal lines above the figure group at right still partially showing; White and Boon's tenth state (of 10). Ex-collection Adam Gottlieb Thiermann (Lugt 2434, verso); and Kupferstichkabinett der Staatlichen Museen, Berlin (Lugt 1606, verso). A very good, dark and well-inked impression with strong contrasts.
