"Well that is hard luck losing that baby - all you children are so rugged - Remember us to Mrs B. and say we fell [?] with her. I am going away for a week. Dr. has said I must. How is the weather up north in Adirondacks. Do you want to go with me? Get me a model of that stretcher - that's all. What do I care of a little [unclear word]?
