Accepted by Bartsch and Usticke (the latter comments, "A scarce print, rejected by many but possibly delicate earlier work has been covered"), this etching is attributed to a close follower of Rembrandt by most cataloguers. Biörklund notes that this print is the reversed copy of a Rembrandt painting from 1632. Bartsch 127; Biörklund Rej. 9.
